The following review of Deep Mountain: Across the Turkish-Armenian Divide, by Turkish journalist Ece Temelkuran, was published in the Winter 2011 issue of New Politics. The author, G. M. Goshgarian, is an accomplished literary scholar and translator. One of his most recent translations, Hagop Oshagan's novel on the Armenian Catastrophe, Remnants, still unpublished, won a PEN Club translation award in 2009.
